importance of exercise
Did you know that being overweight increases your risk of acid reflux disease symptoms?
Shedding extra pounds can make this risk go down. So it makes sense to include exercise
as part of your healthy lifestyle.
How much is enough?
The Department of Health and Human Services recommends that adults get at least
30 minutes of moderate-to-intense physical activity, 5 or more days a week.

According to Maggie Spilner, a former editor at Prevention magazine, the
Get Started Walking program is an example that can work well for
beginners. Be sure to start slow and work your way up. And don’t forget to cool
down afterwards!
